Unifying the Playing Field: Local and Global Movements to Advance the Right to Education

The event aims to gather leaders from around the globe as part of the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development in New York City. Perspectives from different regions will provide a comprehensive view of good practices and shared challenges we need to overcome for building sustainable, gender equal, inclusive, peaceful, democratic, and resilient societies.
The day will be divided in four main sessions:
- Securing the right to education and ECD for children with disabilities
- Right to education advocacy across the world
- The status of SDG 4 today - a civil society perspective
- The call for strong public education systems
Lunch will be proposed during the day, and the sessions will be followed by networking opportunities for participants.
