The 2010 Nigeria Education Data Survey (NEDS) was a nationally representative sample survey implemented primarily by the National Population Commission (NPC) in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Education (FMOE) and the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC). The project was jointly funded through USAID’s EdData II project and the UK Department for International Development’s Education Sector Support Programme in Nigeria (ESSPIN). It was conducted in about 28,000 households with the aim of obtaining household information on children’s education. The full report presents the main survey findings.
